Ideas at Work is a five-day summer program directed towards incoming 8th and 9th graders to introduce the world of work and related pathways for skill development. Students will participate in Career Tech Education including hands-on project-based learning. They will complete projects in three different career focuses. They will tour businesses related to their projects as well as explore and integrate soft skills. Other related activities will be made available that support deeper learning.
Registration is a TWO STEP PROCESS.
Step 1 – fill out the registration form by following the link below. Once you begin you will need to complete the entire process as you cannot save midway through the registration process. You will need to provide your medical insurance and doctor information as well as include health and allergy information.
Step 2 – After you have submitted your registration form, you have a second form to download, print, complete, and return the Memo Of Understanding and Release. Your child is not registered until we have received this Release document. Registration is open until the 40 slots are filled. Our goal is to select registered students from across the county with equity for gender and grade.
